Yggdrasil move into Slovakia through extended partnership with Tipsport

After witnessing a series of successful slot launches, iGaming software provider Yggdrasil Gaming has extended its partnership with Czech betting agency Tipsport. This move comes after the provider rolled out its iGaming content with the betting agency in Slovakia’s regulated market for the first time.

Under the deal, Yggdrasil’s extensive games portfolio, including the Swedish supplier’s own game engagement mechanics (GEM) and exclusive content from its YG Masters program, will now be available to Tipsport’s customers.

Major Achievement

The agreement marks the strengthening of the business relationship between the two companies, after Yggdrasil signed a similar agreement with Tipsport back in June 2019, where it saw its content go live with the betting agency. Besides establishing its commitment to regulated markets, the deal also shows the popularity of Yggdrasil’s content with the operator’s customers.

Yggdrasil’s chief of global market operations Björn Krantz has praised the launch as a ‘huge achievement’, as they continue to implement their growth strategy in Europe and other countries.

“We have had a very successful partnership with Tipsport in the Czech Republic and are thrilled to extend this collaboration to Slovakia. Our content has resonated well with Tipsport’s customers and we are confident it will also appeal to Slovakian players,” he added.

Market Growth

Tipsports’s Online Casino Manager Tomas Chyle also commented on the partnership, saying:

“Yggdrasil’s portfolio offers a wide range of immersive, innovative and engaging games that have great appeal to our customer base.”

Chyle added that they are “very excited” to extend the partnership while they expand their brand in Slovakia. He explained that by offering Yggdrasil’s content, they “significantly strengthen” their “fledgling casino offering.”
