Xace, an account and payment services provider, has revealed its plans for a Malta-based headquarters. This is in line with the group’s goals of rapidly expanding across Europe in the coming months.
The facility will be used to manage solutions offered to Malta-based busiensses and personnel in the gaming industry, and at the same time facilitate greater business development in major European markets.
The group explains that the facility is scheduled to open in the summer, and it will also be home to Xace Europe, a subsidiary of Xace that will oversee operations across the EU and provide better access to its products and services for companies based in the jurisdiction.
“This is a very exciting development for Xace which comes such a short time after our initial launch. In just seven months we have scaled to one of the leading account providers in the gaming industry and with no signs of growth slowing down,” David Hodkinson, Xace CEO, said.
“Increasing our account offering in Malta was a no-brainer as it is the hub of the global gaming industry and where we absolutely need our European businesses to be based,” he added.
Xace has enjoyed rapid growth ever since it launched just under a year ago, particularly amidst gambling businesses that struggle to earn traditional high street bank accounts.
Xace considers Malta as an ideal location to open its new European headquarters, as it sets its eyes on a European expansion for 2021.
“This is a milestone moment for us as we build on the tremendous growth Xace has enjoyed to date, making our products and services available to more gaming companies across Europe than ever before from our new Malta HQ,” Annie Osborne, Xace CCO, said.
