Wynn Resorts revealed that its WynnBet online casino and sports betting app was granted another market access license, this time in the state of Ohio.
Subject to license eligibility and availability, regulatory approvals and legalization, Ohio marks the eighth state added to the growing list of states where WynnBet plans to launch.
The app is currently available in Colorado and New Jersey, and its virtual doors were opened in Michigan on Friday, January 22, as the Wolverine State’s online sports betting market went live. WynnBet also secured market access partnerships in Nevada, Ohio, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Iowa; and has submitted for licensure in Virginia and Tennessee.
“To meet the demands of the quickly moving online sports beting and igaming industry, WynnBet is fast-tracking discussions regarding market access in more than a dozen other large jurisdictions to be announced,” a statement from the company, reveals.
“Such market access and licensure are subject to legalization and required approvals by regulatory authorities in each jurisdiction,” it added.
With regards to the group’s upcoming launch in Michigan, which will come once the region resumes with online gaming and sports betting from noon local time, the company promises to provide “a broad selection of professional sports and high-end casino games that users can quickly and easily toggle between”.
