London-based bookmaker William Hill has further expanded its presence in the US state of Pennsylvania with the launch of its new retail sportsbook at Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester County.
The full-service sportsbook will come with six ticket windows, 16 self-service betting kiosks and a wagering menu with in-play betting.
Inside the new sportsbook space, Harrah’s Philadelphia will continue to manage The Book, it’s sports betting lounge venue that offers stadium lounge seats, high-top tables, and more than 45 TV screens from which customers can watch sports events.
William Hill will operate its sportsbook together with Caesars Entertainment. Consumers int eh state will be given the option to bet on mobile through the ‘Caesars Casino & Sportsbook by Harrah’s Philadelphia’ app.
In July, Eldorado Resorts acquired the legacy Caesars Entertainment Corporation business, in a reverse merger deal worth $17.3 billion.
Because of this, an existing sports betting partnership between Eldorado and William Hill extended to Caesars properties. Signed in September 2018, the deal saw William Hill become Eldorado’s exclusive provider of digital and land-based sports betting and online gaming services.
