UK-based bookmaker William Hill recently launched a mobile sportsbook in Illinois. This is the sixth state in which the operator has launched an online betting product.
The sportsbook app will operate through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment’s Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, Illinois, where the bookmaker also opened a retail sportsbook last month.
Players in the state will be able to use the app to place parlay, prop, future, and in-play bets on several professional and collegiate sports events.
New players that open an account and make a digital deposit will also receive a 100% match up of up to $300.
“We’re excited to bring our top-performing mobile app to my hometown state of Illinois,” Ken Fuchs, William Hill US president of digital, said. “We look forward to providing millions of sports fans in the state with the best markets and great service,” he added.
William Hill now offers mobile sports betting in six states namely Iowa, New Jersey, Nevada, West Virginia, Colorado and now Illinois.
The bookmaker is also the second brand, after PointsBet, to launch sports betting in the state.
