Online gambling and entertainment company Sportech has just signed a new multi-year licensing and services contract with the UK Tote Group.
Under the contract, the Sportech will continue providing Tote with its Quantum System, which will allow it to offer its pool betting technology and services.
According to Sportech, this arrangement strengthens Tote’s domestic pools betting, as well as international commingling for access to global horse racing and other sporting pools worldwide.
Sportech signed a separate, multi-year international commingling deal with the Tote in April this year. This deal also sees it provide the operator with its proprietary digital platform.
“Sportech continues to provide stable, large scale global technology and software services, supporting the product innovation and development for our UK and International growth plans,” Mark Kemp, UK Tote Group managing director, said.
Richard McGuire, Sportech chief executive, commented that the new agreement supports the provider’s strategy of extending client relationships to drive incremental business growth.
“The Tote is setting incredible new standards of innovation in pools betting, both domestically and globally, and we will continue to provide the foundations on which they build,” McGuire said.
