iGaming software developer SoftSwiss is expanding into the African market for the first time after it was granted a new license in Nigeria.
This new permit will give SoftSwiss the chance to work with licensed operators in Nigeria and deploy its igaming software in the most populous country in Africa.
SoftSwiss explained that the new license forms part of current strategy to focus on expanding towards regulated markets around the world.
“Entering the Nigerian market marks an exceptional turning point for SoftSwiss, as we’re expanding our global presence to a brand-new continent,” Ivan Montik, SoftSwiss founder, said.
“Nigeria is considered one of the most fast-paced igaming markets in terms of growth and we cannot wait to begin providing our services there.
“Nigeria is a great achievement for us and we’re planning on moving even further into other regulated markets,” he added.
The license was grantd after SoftSwiss announced the launch of Afflika, a new affiliate marketing platform for sportsbook, last week.
