Online gambling operator Scientific Games has just signed a new multi-year deal that will allow it to provide instant lottery games to Olifėja, the National Lottery operator of Lithuania.
The agreement sees the extension of partnership between the two operators for another five years. There is an option to extend the contract by another two years.
Scientific Games has helped Olifėja develop games such as Magiskas Perlas and Sekmes 7 for the Lithuanian market. In 2019, Olifėja’s instant game retail revenue reached an impressive €56 million—50 times higher than 2010 revenue.
“Scientific Games is proud to be a part of the successful growth of instant game entertainment in Lithuania, and we are committed to help Olifėja continue responsibly growing instant product sales over the next decade,” John Schulz, Scientific Games senior vice president for global instant products, said.
“Instant products as a game entertainment category are not fully realized throughout Europe, and Olifėja’s success is a tremendous example of the category’s potential,” he added.
Profits from Lithuania National Lottery game sales are used to support the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee, whose main goal include preparing and leading the delegates for the Olympic games as well as for regional, continental, and/or global multi-sports competitions.
“Olifėja enjoys a true partnership with Scientific Games. We are proud to continue working with the market leaders of our industry, using the valuable insights and global best practices that Scientific Gmaes provides to create entertaining games that Lithuanian’s love to play,” Antanas Muraška, Olifėja’s managing director, said.
