American online gambling operator Scientific games has just signed an extension to its long-term technology agreement with Loto-Québec, a Canadian provincial lottery operator.
The extended deal with run through until January 31, 2022, extending a partnership that started 50 years ago.
The gambling operator will continue to produce instant games and hybrid lottery games for the lottery operator. It has created over 4,500 instant games for the lottery in the last 50 years, including unique products like Boîte à Bingo, La Poule aux Oeufs d’Or, and Ultime.
Scientific Games’ manufacturing facility located in Montreal, Québec produces games for Loto-Québec, and four other Canadian provincial lotteries as well.
“Scientific Games produced Loto-Québec’s very first instant game 50 years ago, and the tradition of our partnership will continue through this contract extension,” Marie-Claudel Lalonde, Loto-Québec’s senior director for strategy and marketing communications, said.
