Online bookmaker PointBet is now the ‘Official Gaming Partner’ of the Detroit Red Wings and its little Caesars Arena home in a new multi-year agreement.

The partnership, aimed towards improving fan engagement and game-day excitement, includes the rebranding of Sports & Social Detroit at the arena to the PoinsBet Sports Bar.

The facility, which is expected to be operational by 2021, will come with a full-service food and beverage menu, high-definition TVs, gaming promotions, VIP access, live betting odds, unique programming and special guests.

“Our fans will enjoy the lively atmosphere of the PointsBet Sports Bar and the energy this partnership will bring to the game-day experience in and around Little Caesars Arena,” Chris Granger, group president of sports entertainment at Ilitch Holdings, said.

“We are proud to deepen our relationship with PointsBet and we look forward to creating dynamic experiences for our fans,” he added.

The Collaboration

The collaboration also features television broadcast-visible signage just inside the blue lines. It also showcases a LED PointsBet signage and branding all around the Little Caesars Arena during Red Wings home games.

In addition, PointsBet will have a sponsored presence on the Red Wings’ radio network and digital platforms. It will also be integrated into The District Detroit mobile app and featured regularly on The Word on Woodward, a twice-weekly live streaming show broadcast on the Red Wings and Tigers channels.
