Gambling software development company Playtech announced that it would be launching its casino content in New Jersey, through its long-term strategic partnership with Bet365, a major global online gambling company.
This partnership is Playtech’s first venture into US territory, and the supplier plans to forge partnerships with other local operators in the next couple of months. It was granted regulatory approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and was allowed to offer casino games in the state together with Bet365 in June 2020.
Bet365 has been active in the state since last year, when it rolled out
its retail sportsbook branches together with Hard Rock Atlantic City.
“This is a significant moment for Playtech and our
development in the US,” Shimon Akad, Playtech chief operating officer, said. “Launching
Playtech’s software in the US is a landmark, and we are very pleased to be
taking this step with one of our most trusted partners in Bet365,” he added.
