Netherlands—The Nederlandse Loterij has recently completed incorporating Scientific Games’ sports betting technology for its Toto sportsbook product.
The sports betting brand has now gone live with Scientific Games’ OpenSports digital sports betting solution under an agreement that covers the supplier’s OpenTrade managed trading services as well as access to its full pre-match, in-play and risk management services.
The incorporation signifies the completion of an extension of partnership between the Nederlanse Loterij and the supplier which was initially announced in October last year. The operator officially becomes the 2th lottery worldwide to utilize Scientific Games’ sports betting solutions.
“Moving into Scientific Games’ sports betting platform was important to us, as we strive to offer our customers the best experience with Nederlanse Loterij and its brands every day,” Maurice Meijer, Nederlanse Loterij chief technology officer, said.

Scientific Games and the Nederlanse Loterij have been working together for a number of years, with the former providing the latter with its OpenPlatform player account technology through a deal originally agreed upon with with SG Digital, and instant win games.
