Montana Lottery enumerates the rules it has come up with for sports betting operations that are set to begin in March.
In anticipation of “March Madness” that is the NCAA Tournament, the Montana Lottery Commission has released sports betting rules on which sports people can wager on and what bets can be accepted.
According to the rules, traditional bets have been approved. These would include in-game wagers, moneylines, spreads, prop bets, and futures.

Betting terminals are expected to be set up by March 9. Sales agent training will follow after installation.
Operations are expected to start just in time for the NCAA Tournament – considered to be one of the most wagered-on sporting events in the country – with its first play-in to be held on March 17.
To guide bettors along the process, the Montana Lottery Commission will be setting up a website with all the instructions bettors may need for a smooth online gambling experience via the Sport Bet Montana app.
