Specialist virtual games provider Kiron is the first supplier to offer virtual content in South Africa after launching its Jika Sports portfolio with all major betting providers on the market.
The portfolio was initially introduced to leading retail operators in September 2019, and is now available to all major betting providers in the market and will provide local versions of Kiron horse riding and virtual soccer products online via the Jika Sports brand.
Kiron aims to “turn around” the way people bet on sports in the most substantial African gaming market, focusing on the most loved sports in the country, Jika Racing and Jika Soccer.
The Jika Soccer game is available in English, Italian, and Spanish league formats, while Jika Racing features Kiron’s suite of racing games, including motor racing, horse racing, jumps, and greyhound racing.
Kiron made a breakthrough in its home turf and was the first online game provider to make virtuals available across to all major bookmakers in South Africa, including the leading names of Hollywoodbets, Betway, Supabets, and World Sports Betting.
Steven Spartinos, co- CEO of Kiron, discussing the news:
“Being the first to go live online in our home country with Jika Sports is a great milestone for us and our team, giving testament to the value proposition presented by our strong games portfolio and localized offering.
“South Africa has a long-established and successful track record as a key regulated market internationally and the positive uptake of Jika Sports demonstrates the growing demand for fresh content among both players and operators locally.”
