Payments provider MuchBetter, operated by MIR Limited UK, has inked a new global payments partnership with Unibet operator, Kindred Group.
Under the deal, the MuchBetter payment app will be offered to players across all Kindred brands, starting with Bingo.com, Unibet, and Maria Casino.
According to the payments provider, it was chosen by Kindred due to its low transaction fees, security features, and user experience, and also because the operator was in need of a payment partner that could help it navigate complicated regulatory requirements in Europe and North America.
MuchBetter said it charges fees based on a player’s net deposits within a month, instead of charging for every transaction in and out of a player’s account.
This is said to significantly reduce transfer fees, especially for VIP players, and was one of the major factors considered by Kindred. MuchBetter also said that Kindred saw growing demand for the payment option among its user base.
“We set up MuchBetter to meet the needs of operators and players alike,” Israel Rosenthal, MuchBetter founder and chief executive, said.
“To hear that Kindred players specifically requested MuchBetter as a new payment option is testament to our growing reputation in the industry amon players,” he added.
Kindred Group’s senior payments solutions manager Phaedra Debattista also commented, saying:
“We are committed to offering players a better and safer way to gamble. We listened to our players and chose MuchBetter as a new payment partner for its seamless and secure user experience.
“MuchBetter’s regulatory expertise in our key regions and unique commercial model were also important considerations, and where the team has been incredibly helpful already.”
