Game technology company Inspired Entertainment is set to become the first supplier to launch virtual sports in Turkey. This is made possible through a new agreement signed with Turkish national lottery operator Sisal Şans.
The virtual games supplier has signed an agreement with Sisal Şans, a joint enterprise between Italy’s Sisal and Şans Digital, a Dermirören Holding subsidiary. The 10-year agreement will see both companies operate Turkey’s national lottery Milli Piyango, on behalf of the Turkish Wealth Fund Management in August last year.
The games will now be offered on Misili, using V-Play Plug and Play, an end-to-end online and mobile virtual sportsbook solution. This was already done for partners like DraftKings and Chumba Casino’s FendOff Sports,
“We have worked with Sisal for many years in Italy, supplying our video lottery terminals, virtuals and mobile products,” Brooks Pierce, Inspired Entertainment president and chief operating officer, said. “We are thrilled to partner with their Turkish joint venture, Sisal Şans, to offer our virtuals products in turkey.” He added.
Pierce also said that their virtuals were proven to be popular in Italy, Greece and the UK. He hopes to see Turkey as a new opportunity to present their Plug & Play solution and the strength of their overall Virtuals offerings.
“Inspired’s virtual sports speak to that innovation, offering fast-paced action, ultra-realistic player simulations and a tremendous breadth of bet types, and we are excited to be the first certified website to offer virtuals in Turkey,” Selim Ergun, chief executive of Sisal Şans said.
“We are looking forward to working with the Inspired team to bring a continual stream of betting content to our consumer base, especially given the limited live sports now available,” Ergun added.
