Global leader in gaming International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its IGT Mexico Lottery subsidiary was just granted an extended collaboration with La Lotería Nacional para la Asistecia Pública.
This extension will allow the firm to continue providing an integrated draw-based/instant ticket system, communications network, draw-based lottery terminals, additional lottery products, and ongoing services, to the Mexican national lottery.
“For more than three decades, IGT has provided our lottery customer in Mexico with the expertise, technology and services, it has needed to generate results, which ultimately benefit social and health programs,” Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer of lottery, said.
“As Lotenal navigates this transformational period, IGT’s innovative, reliable, and proven technology will continue to be a key driver of its evolution,” he added.
IGTs ongoing services to Lotenal include instant ticket distribution and lottery game transactions across 8,200 terminals nationwide.
It also includes continuous development of new B2B retail channels; maintenance, repair, installation, and monitoring of its total base of lottery terminals; field service; call center operations and hotline management; retailer training; fixed-odds sports betting retail network; and marketing support to improve the group’s product and game portfolio.
“For the Loteria Nacional, the extension of the contract with IGT contributes to the certainty and security that we offer to our clients in a year of great challenges for all of us, which has also been a year of transition and internal transformation,” Mario Caballero Luna, Lotenal chief of advisors, said.
