Casino aggregation platform Iforium was recently awarded a license by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC).
The A1 license allows Iforium to offer its Gameflex casino aggregator platform and portfolio of approved gaming content to licensed operators in Greece’s newly regulated market.
“I am proud to confirm Iforium have been granted an A1 Supplier License by the Hellenic Gaming Commission,” Phil Parry, chief executive at Iforium, said.
“Continuous expansion of our regulated footprint is key to Iforium’s strategy and our new license in Greece marks our 17th successful regulated market entry.
“I look forward to working with our valued partners in the newly regulated Greek market and supporting their future growth via our Gameflex aggregation platform,” he added.
After Greece passed regulations for the market in 2019 and submitted them to the European Commission in January 2020, the country launched its online gaming process in October 2020.
A number of companies were granted supplier licenses by the HGC this year, including Pariplay, Playson, B2B Gaming Services, and Bragg Gaming Group, as well as game developer Hacksaw Gaming.
