GiG improves marketing compliance tool with language detection feature

iGaming platform and media provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has strengthened its GiG Comply marketing compliance tool with a new language detection feature, intended to improve the operator’s compliance with regulated jurisdictions.

GiG explains that the addition will enable operators to identify what language a website promoting their brand is written in, and thereby helping them ensure they comply with and follow regulatory guidelines within specific markets.

This new feature will also allow operators to embrace regulated iGaming in jurisdictions like Germany, where strict new compliance regulator measures were introduced.

Although standards announced by the GlüNeuRStV are not scheduled to be implemented until 2021, GiG says that its compliance tool will prepare interested parties and comply with the terms stated.

“We are continuously improving and advancing our products not only to ensure they reflect what is happening in the market but also so that we can continue to meet the needs of our partners,” Ben Clemes, CCO at GiG, said.

“The new language feature not only helps to ensure that our partners are ahead of the game and are fully compliant in newly-regulated markets, but it also enables them to do so effectively and efficiently through a fast and automated process,” he added.
