Canada-based iGaming operator and tech provider FansUnite Entertainment recently concluded the acquisition of white label solutions provider Askott Entertainment for CAD $27.8 million (USD 20.7 million) in FansUnite shares.
Askott shareholders were given 1.9193 common shares of FansUnite for each Askott share they own, for a total of 71.2 million shares worth $0.39 each.
According to the agreement, Scott Burton, Askott founder and chief executive, was named CEO of the enlarged business.
Darius Eghdami, former chief executive of FansUnite, shifts to the role of company president, while Jeremy Hutchings, former chief technology officer of Askott, and Ian Winter, former chief operating officer of Askott, now holds these roles at FansUnite. Winter replaces Duncan Peter McIntyre, who has resigned.
