US-based bookmaker and daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel has just signed a multi-year content and marketing contract with the PGA Tour. This contract aims to expand upon the growing betting momentum on professional golf markets as observed in 2020.
Golf presented the highest single event handle on FanDuel’s Sportspooks on nine out of the last 12 Sundays. FanDuel’s total golf handle for this year already surpassed amounts wagered on the sport in 2019.
By officially becoming the PGA Tour’s betting operator, FanDuel is granted rights to use the PGA Tour’s logos, advertise within Tour media and master platforms, and also receive rights to create pre-game and post-game betting content and video programming. The operator will also be granted permission to distribute tour highlights to users who have placed bets.
FanDuel and the PGA Tour will work together to deliver odds-based content to fans through platforms such as the PGA Tour app and pgatour.com.
