FanDuel has just signed a strategic partnership with The Ringer. The latter is a sports and pop culture website owned by Spotify.
Under the said deal, The Ringer will be promoting FanDuel’s betting products and fantasy contests across its website, podcast network, newsletter, including a new contest, “The Ultimate Ringer,” where bettors pick the winners of multiple NFL games every week through the regular season and playoffs.
Besides fantasy sports and sports betting contests, FanDuel will also sponsor Bill Simmons’ “Million Dollar Picks” podcast and several episodes across the site’s other podcast products. Bill Simmons is the founder of The Ringer.
“We’re thrilled to partner with The Ringer as major sports leagues return to action,” Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel chief marketing officer, said. “They have a pulse on sports and pop culture, which has contributed to a strong and loyal following across a myriad of platforms,” he added.
