iGaming operator Esports Entertainment Group revealed that a software firm agreed to purchase plans to launch a cryptocurrency mining application for gaming computers.
“Crypto mining during the idle machine time is a request that many of our customers have been asking for and we are excited to be able to offer it as the launch application of our distributed computing product ggFuze,” Zack Johnson, ggCircuit CEO, said.
ggCircuit, is a B2B software company providing cloud-based management for LAN centers as well as integrated wallet/point-of-sale solutions for enterprise customers. It is planning to launch ggFuze, a custom-built crypto mining application next month.
In a combined transaction with a value amounting
to $43 million, Esports Entertainment Group agreed to acquire Helix eSports and
ggCircuit, which operates on a number of eSports centers and helped develop the
crypto mining application. The deal is expected to be finalized this quarter.
