Esports gambling operator Esports Entertainment Group has just signed a new partnership with AEG, the sports and entertainment company that owns major league sport franchises LA Galaxy and LA Kings.
This new partnership will see Esports Entertainment become the the LA King’s and the LA Galaxy’s official esports tournament provider.
The deal marks Esports Entertainment’s first partnerships with teams in each league. It will see the operator exclusively host branded tournaments for the franchises on its Esports Gaming League (EGL) platform.
EGL hosts live and online events and competitions, giving gamers opportunities to compete and use a number of contents related to esports and video games.
“This is the first big US push for our tournament platform, a key component of our ‘Three Pillar Strategy’ for growth,” Magnus Leppaniemi, Esports Entertaiment ‘s executive vice president for esports, said.
