DraftKings has extended its partnership with the PGA Tour and officially becomes the golf tournament organizer’s first betting operator.
Under the agreement, PGA Tour will give DraftKings the rights to use its trademarks in the U.S. The sports betting operator will also have the right to advertise within Tour media and Tour partner platforms.
DraftKings will also be granted content and video rights, allowing its sportsbook solution to make pre-game and post-game betting programming. It will also be allowed to distribute highlights to customers that placed bets events by PGA Tour.
This comes after DraftKings signed a multi-year content and marketing deal last July, making it the first official daily fantasy game of the PGA Tour.
“We are excited to further our relationship with the PGA Tour as its first official betting operator as well,” Ezra Kucharz, DraftKings chief business operator, said.
