Casinos in the US continue to reopen as Covid-19 restrictions are eased

Several major casino operators in the US have announced that they will be reopening their properties as states continue to relax restrictions for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Commercial and tribal casinos were forced to temporarily shut down their venues in March due to the global pandemic, but as certain states have eased their restrictions, this means properties are now allowed to reopen, albeit under a few conditions.

Caesars Entertainment Corporation resumed operations at its Paris Las Vegas venue in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 18.

The operator had already reopened its Flamingo Las Vegas, Harrah’s Las Vegas, and Caesars Palace properties in the city, including the gaming floor at the LINQ Hotel + Experience.
