The Alberta Gaming Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) has just rolled out PlayAlberta.ca, its iGaming platform powered by NeoPollard Interactive.
The regulated platform features a number of slot and table game content. It also combines British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s GameSense, a responsible gaming portal that offers customers with several support and advice on sustainable play.
The platform also comes with tools like betting and time limits to help players curb or put a limit on their activity when necessary.
“PlayAberta.ca is another way AGLC is delivering a responsible gambling choice for the benefit of Albertans,” Alain Maisonneuve, AGLC president and chief executive, said.
“The province’s regulated online gambling website will offer players expanded entertainment options with integrated responsible gambling features and generate revenue to support valuable programs and services Albertans rely on every day,” he added.
The launch of an igaming product has been in the works since January last year, with the AGLC rolling out a request for proposals (RFP) for a technology partner for the project.
