Online gaming and solutions provider 888 Holdings will begin its launch of Control Centre, a new customer-facing interface that will be included across its websites and act as a central hub allowing players to monitor their play.
Customers will be able to easily access Control Centre at the top of each of the operator’s websites. It will provide customers with customized information on their activity, as well as access to 888 Holdings’ safer gambling tools. Once unhealthy patterns are identified, they’re flagged, and the system immediately takes preventative action.
Control Centre will initially be launched for British customers, with further, localized versions for 888’s offerings in other markets to follow in the coming months.
The announcement of the launch simultaneously occurs with the launch of Safer Gambling Week, on November 19.
According to 888 chief executive Itai Pazner, the first phase of Control Centre is focused on making the operator’s player protection tools more visible. This is complemented with the addition of safer gambling features, which are set to be integrated in the next couple of months.
“Our business rests on ensuring our customers are empowered to make safe and responsible decisions about their gambling,” Pazner said.
“We are committed to continually investing in our teams and technology to prevent gambling-related harm and we are confident that this innovative feature will offer customers new levels of data and clear, transparent insights that will help them to stay informed and in control,” he added.
