Online gaming provider 888 Holdings has just signed a multi-year extension of its exclusive B2B poker partnership with Caesars Interactive Entertainment. This deal will see 888 continue to supply the World Series of Poker (WSOP)-branded online poker offering.
Caesars will continue using 888’s turnkey poker platform and services in the United States, for its desktop and mobile versions of the WSOP online poker rooms.
The extension also sees 888 continue to supply the US market’s only interstate shared-player liquidity poker network across Nevada, Delaware, and New Jersey. This move will increase the availability of poker games and formats for players across the aforementioned states.
Under the deal, 888 will also release its next generation poker software, “Poker 8” in the US, after its launch in Europe in November. According to the operator, the software provides major advancement in user experience, including new animations and graphics and features like multi-flight and multi-day tournaments.
Besides powering the WSOP poker brand, 888 will also keep supplying its proprietary casino platform and content to Caesar’s online casino brands, Harrah’s and the World Series of Poker Casino in New Jersey.
“Our partnership with Caesars has been powering the hugely popular WSOP brand online since 2013 and we are looking forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come,” Yaniv Sherman, senior vice president and head of US for 888, said.
